First Meeting of Fall 2018!

Our fall semester got off to a GREAT start with our first meeting of the year! The theme for this meeting was "How sweet it is to be in NACE" and we discussed all the different paths you can take in the catering and events industry.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our first guest speakers of the semester; Dawn Peterson, Julie Brown Pflueger, Jo Ann Grant, and Ginia Lucas! They shared with us their experiences with NACE and with the events industry and our students were so excited to learn from them!

We elected our very first photography chair at this meeting as well! Congratulations to Kaitlyn Funk and all the other students who ran for this executive board position.

During this meeting, we also introduced our new mentorship program with the Phoenix NACE chapter, reviewed the summer event trends, and introduced our 2018-2019 executive board. Thank you to all who came to this meeting!
