~New Chapter of NACE~

FIRST MEETING

Thank you to everyone who came to our first meeting on September 11th! We did a lot for our first meeting, and learned a lot about NACE and what the national organization can do to further your career.

Thank you to our guest speakers for this meeting, Julie Pflueger CPCE and Kellie Mendoza CPCE from Phoenix NACE! They provided information on what the National Association for Catering and Events is and the benefits of being in NACE in college and ALSO the benefits after your graduate.

Let's get SOCIAL!

For the social, Berlin Cormey had everyone take toilet paper from the toilet paper roll and tell that many facts about themselves in their groups. Everyone got to learn more about their fellow members and learn some fun facts about the executive board!

We had four total nominations for the Community Service Chair on the executive board, an all were AMAZING candidates. Out of the four, Aimee Bonneau is the newest member of the executive board for the 2019-2020 year! Congratulations and WELCOME!

Dues

Our Treasurer, Jaci Maggio covered the fees for the student chapter. If you missed it, there are a total of $80 of dues for the ENTIRE year! $15 Membership dues each semester and a single fee of $50 for National membership. You can get access to job opportunities, Phoenix NACE Meetings, Professional Networking, and MORE. If you have any questions, please ask any of the executive board and we would be happy to assist.
